About the Nordic Agency for Sustainable Impact

The Nordic Agency for Sustainable Impact is a visionary agency. Its founder, Rami Narte, has been working on international development issues since the early 2000s, where he focused on ensuring “sustainable impact” through bringing international donors, public agencies and businesses together to mobilise financial and human resources to create a lasting impact for communities, business value for businesses, and increased effectiveness of public spending. 

Our history is rooted in award-winning, global sustainability projects that mobilised entire supply chains towards resource efficiency, circular production, and improved footprint. Along this course, we’ve developed a global database of impact entrepreneurs, technical consultants, tools and technologies, that can be adapted to solve the most pressing social and environmental sustainability challenges.

We operate globally

We are a small team based in Stockholm, Sweden, and operating globally. Our projects have covered low and middle income countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. We work primarily with a wide range of clients including intergovernmental organisations, development cooperation agencies, multinational corporations, impact investment firms, etc.  Our impact agents, consultants, and technical experts are spread across the world. 

For example, we recently concluded a project for German development cooperation in Tunisia, bringing in expertise from Sweden and India, to achieve impact at companies owned by French and Italian businesspeople.

Our business model

We see ourselves as a global agency of impact entrepreneurs, technical consultants, and solution providers. Our business model consists of three tiers: Project facilitation, technical consultation, and financial advisory. Our engagements are cost-effective, as our project facilitation model is agile and nibble. We work with technical consultants around the world who are able to gather , validate and analyse data effectively, both remotely and on-site, and then provide costed action plans including the cost-benefit of each investment. We are also happy to support throughout the impact journey.

Ethical policy

We work out of Stockholm, Sweden, and follow Swedish law and EU regulations. Our mission is to support driving impact that is environmentally sustainable, socially equitable, and economically viable for ourselves and for our clients. We do not work with any clients or industries that do not serve our mission. 

Work with us!

Sustainable development cannot be achieved with international donor contributions alone. It cannot be achieve either with CSR initiatives, and voluntary business action. Public spending on many crucial development issues is far too low. We have been designing programmes to bring together international development partners, public agencies, and businesses to each do what they do best – and ensure the sustainability of results accordingly. While we can support businesses on sustainability reporting, our focus is on what happens next in terms of improving their impact – and how to engage collectively with other businesses, public agencies, and international donors, in order to achieve collective, sustainable impact. We are dedicated to real, tangible impact.
